  • Certificate III in Aged Care:
    This course provides students with the skills and knowledge to provide person-centered care to older adults. Students will learn to assist with daily living tasks, support independence and wellbeing, understand dementia and related behaviors, and communicate effectively with older adults. The course consists of 13 core units and 3 elective units and is typically completed in 12 months. Graduates can work as aged care workers, care assistants, or personal care assistants.
    Certificate IV in Aged Care:
    This course builds on the skills and knowledge developed in the Certificate III course. Students will learn to coordinate person-centered care, develop care plans, manage medication, provide palliative care, and supervise and lead teams. The course consists of 15 core units and 5 elective units and is typically completed in 18 months. Graduates can work as care coordinators, team leaders, or residential care workers.
    Diploma of Aged Care:
    This course provides students with advanced skills and knowledge to design and implement care plans, manage aged care services, coordinate resources, develop and lead teams, and evaluate service quality. The course consists of 20 core units and 6 elective units and is typically completed in 24 months. Graduates can work as residential care managers, service managers, or regional managers.
    Bachelor of Aged Care:
    This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of aged care, including policy development, team management, research and evaluation, expert consultation, and education program development. The course consists of 32 core units and 8 elective units and is typically completed in 36 months. Graduates can work as aged care consultants, policy developers, education managers, or researchers.
