Students will learn to assist with daily living tasks, support independence and wellbeing, understand dementia and related behaviors, and communicate effectively with older adults. The course consists of 13 core units and 3 elective units and is typically completed in 12 months. Graduates can work as aged care workers, care assistants, or personal care assistants.

Students will learn to coordinate person-centered care, develop care plans, manage medication, provide palliative care, and supervise and lead teams.
